Mrs. Savage believes that eye examinations are essential for children’s health and personal development. Even if nothing appears to be wrong, it is important for children to have a regular eye exam once per year and this is free through the NHS.
A child with poor vision often has difficulty at school and finds it more difficult to enjoy everyday childhood activities.
As most of a child’s learning occurs visually, it is important that they can see well enough to reach their full potential. Typical warning signs of visual problems are peering closely at books and the TV, squinting, blinking frequently and getting lower than expected test results.
Mrs. Savage assesses children and infants based on their age and expected stage of visual development using a range of techniques and up to date equipment to find visual problems. She also involves parents in the eye examination and encourages them to ask questions about their child’s vision.
Your eyesight is very precious. Entrust it to people who care - and enjoy a level of personal service that is really refreshing.
Good eyesight is essential for the full enjoyment of life. Regular eye examinations are important at any age, but especially for children and people aged over 60.
Whether you feel you have a problem with your eyes, or simply want to check if your eyes are healthy; change spectacle frames, investigate wearing contact lenses or purchase the latest style of sunglasses we are available to help and reassure you.
